  • HOLDS: We'll email you when materials you have requested are available for pickup.
  • DUE DATES: We'll email you three days before your items are due.
  • OVERDUES: We'll email you if items on your account become two weeks overdue.
  • My Library Account - View now. See details of your own library record: item due dates, holds, fines, lost items.

  • Renewing Materials - How it works. Avoid late fines and renew your materials on the Web.

  • How to Place a Hold - How it works. Request materials by telephone or via ACORN, the library catalog.

  • Suggest Materials: The library welcomes suggestions for new materials. Submit a suggestion for the library's collections.

  • Interlibrary Loan: Request materials that are not in our catalog by using ILL, a fee-based service for Arlington County residents. Submit your requests using our online form.
