Assistance may be provided in areas such as obtaining shelter, emergency food, clothing, and payment of rent and utility bills. |

 | Public Assistance - Food Stamps/Medicaid/TANF - 703-228-1350 Public Assistance Programs promote independence and economic security for Arlington residents by providing financial, medical, nutritional, and housing assistance. Participants must meet a variety of federal, state, and local eligibility criteria. Anti-discrimination policy. Individuals who believe they may be eligible for social services programs can be pre-screened with the online screening tool. The screening tool requires you to complete a brief questionnaire that determines your potential eligibility. The screening tool does not take the place of an application and face-to-face interview, but can indicate your likelihood for eligibility before you visit your local Social Services Department.
