Arlington Employment Center helps local businesses meet their human resource needs by connecting them with Arlington residents looking for meaningful employment. For job seekers, the Center is the County's One-Stop for Internet access and tools to facilitate job searching. Crisis Assistance Services - 703-228-1300
Crisis Assistance Services help eligible households achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency by acting as the primary access point for crisis assistance. Assistance may be provided in areas such as obtaining shelter, emergency food, clothing, and payment of rent and utility bills.

 Community Outreach Program
The Community Outreach Program seeks to promote self-sufficiency and community belonging for new immigrants and low income residents by providing multicultural neighborhood-based educational programs and services. 

Public Assistance - Food Stamps/Medicaid/TANF - 703-228-1350
Public Assistance Programs promote independence and economic security for Arlington residents by providing financial, medical, nutritional, and housing assistance. Participants must meet a variety of federal, state, and local eligibility criteria. Anti-discrimination policy.

Individuals who believe they may be eligible for social services programs can be pre-screened with the online screening tool. The screening tool requires you to complete a brief questionnaire that determines your potential eligibility. The screening tool does not take the place of an application and face-to-face interview, but can indicate your likelihood for eligibility before you visit your local Social Services Department.

Homeowner Grants - 703-228-1350
The Arlington County Homeowner Grant Program has been eliminated. The County Board made this change in the FY 2011 budget to better reflect current need and steer resources to other housing programs.   Details>>

A rental subsidy program for elderly, disabled, and working families with children.

Section 8 Housing - 703-228-1450
A rent assistance program funded by the Federal government through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Real Estate Tax Relief - 703-228-1350
