About the Agency on Aging

The Arlington Agency on Aging (AAA) is part of the Arlington County Department of Human Services, Aging and Disability Services Division.

One of the main functions of the Agency on Aging is to provide to older persons and their families and caregivers information about, assistance in accessing, and referrals to services and resources for older Arlington residents.

Also, the Agency on Aging receives funds from the federal, state, and county governments to provide services in Arlington for older residents (typically 60 and over) and oversees the provision of these services.
